Permalink Reply by Paul on November 3, 2009 at 9:10pm Wednesday... wow, it'll be interesting to see how difficult it'll be to set up reservations with all the changes that can occur. Just got my son's "box" today but still no mailing address... So- with my son arriving at Great Lakes on the 29th, I guess it's possible that his graduation date may be that same Wednesday?
Permalink Reply by Mark on November 3, 2009 at 9:13pm My son also left the same time, good luck to you and your family! Our recruiter could not give us a PIR date he said we should have a Div and Ship number and address this coming week sometime.
Permalink Reply by Mark on November 3, 2009 at 9:22pm Real good chance of the same day. My understanding is normal schedule for graduations is Friday's, Except when Federal Holidaysput a kink in the schedule. Public Affairs Confirmed the move to the 30th, Then off to "A" School they go. I would give it a few weeks before making plan's. Checking prior posts for the PIR have been very informative.

We received my daughter's letter confirming her PIR is 30DEC for her group today (06NOV) in the mail. She was able to add comments on the end of the letter which she is in great spirits and enjoying the food "She better enjoy the food, she will be learning to cook it as a CS". If you havn't received the letter yet, I'm sure it will be coming soon.
