Last Friday's PIR

Hello to everyone who was at last Friday's PIR in the Great Lakes. My son's Div 802 got lots of recognition but all theose men and women were awesome and I am proud to have them all serving our great country. Wasn't it such a emotional moment when the drums were pounding and they opened up that big garage door and there they were marching in place waiting to come in all in thier scarves? Back in 1983 when I graduated there , ours took place in that parking lot where we all had to park before going through the security check point. Things have changed. My son Jeff is now on the main base awating pre dive . I heard it is tough . The weeding out process starts now for Special OPs people.

Con gratulations!!! An wesome ceromony! My graduation was on the parade field in front of the clock tower on mainside where your son is now. I graduated in October of 1969. Best to your son as he faces his new challenges!!!!

Congratulations to you son Jeff and to the proud parents and family. My daughter has her PIR this friday the 29th. Then it's off to Pensacola for A school trainning. I heartilly agree, they are all to be applauded. Every graduating division

Chat on Navy Dads

The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
