Well 19 days and a wake up! Flights are booked, rental car booked, and leave forms submitted...

So, just to close this thread. The PIR went off without a hitch. The place was packed and the bleachers are, well aluminum bleachers with about 32 feet between the aisles, and after about a 2+ hour wait and folks climbing in and out, the show got started. I truly have no idea why they start the entrance so early?? 

Oh well, our son did extremely well, as a section leader, he got promoted twice while there and left as an E3.  So he is off to Pensacola after a few days here at home, it was great to have him back, if even for a little while.

Tim, sorry no one else replied to your discussion here. But I'm glad that all went well. My son also went to Pensacola after PIR so I know what you're going through. Good luck and keep us informed of his progress.

Thanks for the reply Jim, no apology necessary - so what is you son doing in Pensacola? A School? Or did he PCS there?
