WE just found out yesterday this is our son's date. He left on 1/11/2012.
we are planning the 16 plus hour drive from southern Ga to greatlakes for 03/7/2012 and attend a meet and greet with The Sarge on Thurs night.

We just booked a room at LaQuinta Gurnee Il
it has very good reviews about 7 to 8 miles away off of 94
Rooms can go fast as I understand

Got the Letter today, it was addressed to my Wife :)

He says there are 73/80 now and that one guy lied and was booted but is serving time in the Brig. WOW

The RDC's have said they only expect 55 to graduate, but my son, who just had his wisdom teeth out, said in the 1/29 letter, that he "See's himself in this uniform" "One team, One fight"

So he says its rough but he's going to make it.

I hope, 6 more weeks

first weeks are toughest, then RDC's change their training tactics more to cooperative learning and team building.....
