Ship 12 Div 099

My son Austin shipped for boot camp Jan 30th, his recruiter who I think was wonderful was able to get me the above ship and division number that Austin was or would assigned to. I was wondering if there are any others out there that have members in theme class??also wanted to give big thanks to this site. There is a ton of information here that have helped both his mother and I know what to expect and see I n general what Austin will be doing for the next few weeks. We have each sent a few letters to him though I dont know at this point if he's getting them yet or not. This being the start of the second week I would expect we would get his form letter advising of his address but I assume the recruiter must have some inside track for this info in order to get it to me. Thanks again to everyone out there who keeps this site up and running, great job.

Just an FYI for any others that have sons or daughters in this group, I got my sons form letter today and advised PIR was scheduled for 03/30

My daughter Victoria shipped out of Redding, CA for boot camp on Jan. 30th as well. My wife asked the recruiter and got the address on on Friday the fourth. We also received a letter addressed to us in her handwriting, a standard typed letter thanking us for our support, but no actual written letter yet. It wouldnt hurt to keep asking. Good luck!

Chat on Navy Dads

The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
