Navy Dads

My son arrived last night and we got our call at 11:04pm. I am prior Air Force and still learning everything I can about the Navy. If anyone has a son or daughter that arrived yesterday and wants to become friends, please send me a quick note.

Glad your son arrived safe. My son is supposed to fly up to Great Lakes this afternoon.

Hi Todd,
Good to hear that you son arrived safely in GL. Good luck to your son.
My son went to GL yesterday as well.
My wife and I are still adjusting to being empty nesters. We are very proud of our son for taking this very mature step in becoming a sailor.
After BC my son is going for NSW prep and then SWCC training.

Thank you for the reply Tony.  It's great to speak with others about their kids who have joined at the same time.  I wish your son the best when he arrives.  He will do great.

Regan, I wish your son the best of luck as well.  Our kids will be in the same situations at the same time.  That's a great feeling being able to talk to someone else.  We are very proud of our son as well and although we miss him dearly, this is the start of a great career for him.  After PIR, he will go to Pensacola  for ABF training. We cannot wait to see him in 2 months.
