PIR was this past Friday 1/25 and now A School. I'm glad Eric is staying in Chicago .. close to family up in Wisconsin.

Happy Holidays, everyone.  We're among the few who also have our Navy gal home on leave for the holidays (and our two college girls, too!).  Short time, but nice before she reports back for duty.  First time in a couple years.

All I wanted for Christmas was for my sailor to come home and he did surprised everyone even his grandma were spending a lot of time with him after all we mite not have him next year Merry Christmas everybody

My son will be home for Christmas too and then just a few weeks and he goes to his first posting at Norfork Va. He's assigned to NPASE there

whatever that is! He's happy so all's good here at home and he'll only be 3 hours from us!

He's coming home for Christmas!!

My son will be coming home for a week while his A school is on shutdown. His dogs are going to go nutz, they do now when we gets on video chat and they can hear but can't find him. It will be great.

Hello Stephen had a great time in Chicago nice to have finally met you and all the others so my son was with us for only two hours then had to return to base for guard duty the next day they ship him to A school in Pensicola,Fl we sure miss and for this to happen it wasn't fare but I guess it happens hopefully we'll see for the holidays

I believe Paul and Jim have given good information, and Jeffrey your Son should be given a contact liason, including a telephone number, to coordinate the arrival and transportation to the specific area.  If that isn't forthcoming, I'm pretty sure transportation can be coordinated by the San Diego USO:  http://www.usosandiego.org/index.php?option=com_contact&view=co...  I know they're very helpful, and most times will have direct contact numbers for the various areas.

think all the schools and bases offer transportation...even at late hours the officer on duty should be to arrange for transportation....each set or orders should have contact info in them
