Hey folks.  Our son Chris started C School in Dam Neck 2wks ago.  He's an FC, and is there for the MK86 5" gun.  There are 12 in his class, and he said that on the first day, one of the instructors told them to be ready to go to Japan when they graduate this summer.

I guess that since the MK is being phased out, they were also told they will most likely be back at another C School after they deploy.

He had been in GL since Jan of 2010, so he was pretty happy to be putting GL in his rear view mirror, especially in Feb.  Nice transition from there to Virginia ;)

My daughter finailly got her C school orders, she going to Sicily, italy... 36 months... Gonna be a long time.....

1st time posting here, my Son is in AME C school at NAS Whidbey Island,Wa. There's 11 with him, some have been in for 8-9 years and just now going to C school, he's been in since March. He's going to be at Naval Joint Facility Andrews(formerly Andrews AFB)
