Son will be shipping off soon, and he continues to train like a madman to be as prepared as possbile for boot camp then on through into BUD/S.
My question is ... what happens with his SO contract if he gets hurts between now and shipdate? Does he get rolled back to another date or does he lose his contract? Trying to help him understand the risk / reward equation as the time draws closer.
Thanks for any insight!

Both would tell your son to stay in shape -- but take it easy and DON'T risk injury heading into Boot Camp (given that he's already secured an SO Contract -- he'll breeze through RTC). And believe me -- Pre-BUD/S will get him reday for Coronado! Good Luck and HOO YAH! Jerry M
Permalink Reply by KC on January 24, 2012 at 2:43pm Thank you Jerry M!! While this was not my posting I had a similar question. Our son arrived for Boot Camp yesterday with his SEAL contract in hand. What a journey he has before him. Thank you for your sons' devotion and your interest in keeping us freshman informed.
