Is that class supposed to get even harder?

Power School is the next step after "A" school. A school was basically about the machinery. Power school is about the power used to run everything, which obviously in this case is nuclear power.

What do they say about Power School? What comes after A school. I think it is called Power School.

KS My son also likes the format and can't believe what they cover in so little time. He said if they started teaching like this in kindergarten, he would of had a Masters Degree by the age of 10.

I give credit also to the fact that they played team sports in high school and learned what it meant to work together and get along in order to accomplish a goal. It sounds like we were all blessed with great kids. They should be great roel models to the next generation.

I can imagine that is true. Poor guys. I am sure there were times our guys were pushed too. It can't be all fun and games. I know his pressure point was homesickness more than that stuff. He is very emotionally and physically strong. But that is what Boot Camp can do for the others. And I know my son is even more strong than he was. I know he was and is Team Leader so I am proud to think he must be helping those having a harder time than he is. And hopefully someone will help him if needed as the academics get tougher. I guess this stuff will bond them and that is the point.

Mine said the same thing and some one in A school got sent back about 4 weeks or so as well - guess he was not keeping up with the program - late to class, late homework, etc - and the Navy took some action.......I told my son that they do not play around - they mean what they say and if you do not follow the rules - they do not hesitate to take action.....I agree - our sons were lucky to adapt as quickly as they did.....

Sheryl and Jeff.....Our sons were lucky they were able to adapt quickly. Mine told me there were a few that couldn't handle the constant pressure and berating and were either sent home or forced to repeat boot.

I told my son to do what you are told, when you are told, and the yelling will eventually slow down - which it did. My son also said that you learn y ou own way to deal with the mental aspect and all goes well.........
