Hello all I know its been a while since I have posted anything in here so I figured I should catch you all up on Trevor's progress so far in his Naval career. Trevor sent me a message last weekend as we werre moving his wife and kids back to San Diego before he gets back home from his second deployment. In his message he stated that he had just passed his ESWS Murder boards (first class board) and is awaiting his cheif's board and his pinning. He is currently an ET3 CE Training Petty Officer CS/CE division. Moving up in the world and the ranks like he said he was going to do.

My son reported to San Diego naval station after his two week leave from A-School. Leaves yesterday on a destroyer for exercises. A quick start to test his "sea legs"...............

Hi William,

We were down around your area a few weeks ago. We went camping at beavers bend state park the weekend before Easter. Met there with a group from aaround the state and some from surrounding states for a geocaching weekend.

That was my first time to be in that part of the state. I thought that it was a rather beautiful area of the state and will definately be making return trips.

Hi Tim, my son James rate is IT and he will be attending school in pensacola. Our family is from Clayton , Ok.  I noticed a change in my sons demeanor and maturity too. My older son served on the Missouri.I just posted that I received a phone call about an hour ago and he thought boot camp was the greatest thing he was ever involved in. I'm so proud I can't even put it into words.

Welcome to the group John Johnson and William Tays. Nice to see you guys in here. as you can tell this is a small group and hasn't had a lot of action lately.

Might I ask what your sailors rates are? I have a son that is an ET based in San Diego that has been in for 3 years now and my younger son will be leaving for RTC in July to start a career as either a Rescue Diver or a SWCC.

I and my Family are from Shawnee, Ok. I couldn't have picked a better career for my boys myself. I have seen my oldest son mature in truely a well respected and grown family man.

Barry your welcome. Thank Barrett for his enlistment on our behalf. We don't live to far from each other I see. I live in Shawnee. I can tell you that if you have never been to Chicago before that it is a wonderful drive. rather long as it takes about 15 hours but well worth the drive if you don't mind driving up for PIR.
Trevor Graduated in August so it was nice to go to the cooler weather. PIR is an awesome experience that you will thoroughly enjoy.
