Stayed there 3.5 years ago for PIR

Then it was clean  fairly quiet place real near the base -- good staff -- no problems -- no amenities like pool or such. About 1.5 miles from  the gate and METRA  but you might not want to walk the two miles, especially if the weather turns bad.

But if you do walk there give it extra time, no sidewalks most of the way.

The restaurant across the big road had a good rep back then.

Lots of A-School visitors as well as PIR.

Lots better than the other nearby cheapo  places then.

Definitely can recommend - had a real good PIR staying there.

But was 3.5 years back.

I'd stay there again no problem.

Thanks Ric, I got a pretty good deal there, but wasn't sure if it was to good to be true. I like the thought of it being as close to the Training Center as it is.
