Paul, Our daughter is in A school at Fort Sam Houston and has had a problem with her rank from day one of bootcamp. Her contract states she was going in as an E-3 due to the college credits she earned (she was a junior when she went in) and she found out in bootcamp that they have her as an E-1. She has not been able to get anyone to help her get this problem corrected, and has a full daily schedule (corpman school and tutoring). She  has asked me to help. Can you guide me in the right direction? Thanks

Well guys it's been nice sharing and a little worrying with you. Best wishes to you and your sailors at A school. My boy is at great lakes for HT school till sometime in July. I will check in from time to time and let you guys know how he is doing, hope you do the same.

We're in Great Lakes to see our sailor on Friday. Congrats to ya'll and your new Sailors. Thank you all for the support during these loooong eight weeks.

Hey guys my soon to be sailor is at great lakes for A school. I bet they have already talked about there dads and navydads.com. Just sent a letter out today with the NCAA brackets and all the other sports stats I could find. NHL NASCAR MLB just about everything but shuffle board. I am sure that will be info he passes around. Did I tell you guys it took Rob 3 days to find someone to tell him who won the Super Bowl. Oh staying at Crosslands if anyone else is?

Hi Gene thanks for sharing. Is your SR going to A school in Great Lakes? That would be great for our SRs to know somebody while doing their A schools.

Kenneth & Randy, We got another letter Thursday. She sounded great and said they are the senior division on the ship. They are happy about that. According to her, today is week 6 day 1. It sounds like they have alot of work to do before they can graduate. Did they fall behind in training or is this normal? Randy my SR says she knows your SR. She said she is the most energetic person in the division. She also said they will be going to A school together. She likes her alot. Kenneth, about Battlestations, she said they are soooo r eady. They are a team now. Talk to ya'll soon.
