You dont know who you are going to run intoat a meet and greet. As we sat at our table with our Navymom shirts on the couples behind us started asking questions. Both couples had kids in the Navy and didnt even know about the web sites.

thanks Karen, let me know, a meet and greet sounds great, I've only been in the area about a year now so wouldn't turn down an opportunity to meet some people in the area with this in common!

Nice to meet you guys. Jeff if the Navy moms have another meet and greet you are welcome to come. We had one a couple months ago and over 20 people from the area came.

Well hello Karen I,m from the gulf coast my daughter in Okinawa. She in the seabee and can't wait to get back to Gulfport to have some freedom like getting off base in doing something. she said being stuck on a island suck
not able to leave makes the time go real slow. Hope she made it home before the summer get here glad you joint

Hello all, regretfully I am having to leave Navydads :(. For reasons that are sketchy on the Navy's part my son was discharged Aug. 18th, 2009. I will keep my profile on Navydads so this group and other groups I have started will not be deleted. I wish all of you the best on your continued journeys :).
