Thanks for the response. I was at that base for some training just a few weeks ago. you must be proud of your daughter, and you should be. my son wants to be a MA and a dog handler. what does your daughter do.

Hi Chuck, I lived in Yreka for years before moving to Medford. Just sent my Navy Daughter back to Point Mugu today after a week long leave,  she will be going on deployment again next month.

Hi I just wanted to drop in to introduce myself. My son left for Navy RTC a few days ago. We're from Fairfield, CA close to Travis Air Force Base. I'm originally from San Diego and have moved around throughout several places in state including LA and the greater SF Bay Area. I've driven through Oregon once (on the way to Seattle) and it's beautiful...

I live in Southern Oregon and have two sons in the Navy. One 17 years and currently in Afghanistan. The other just started boot camp and going to be EOD.

I live in a small southern Oregon town right on the coast. My son and my son-in-law are both career Navy. My son is in Greece, my son-in-law is currently deployed to WestPac.

I spent most of my life in OR & N. CA. 5 of my 6 children were born in CA. My last child was born after I moved to NY. I miss the north coast so much sometimes!
