Thank you guys for those inspiring thoughts I will do by best to be on TC
my son really wants me to go aboard with him we have always been really close I wouldn't want to disappoint him
the only navy ship I have ever been on and it was eons ago was the USS constitution no I'm not that old! :) when I was a naval cadet as soon as I get word I will make final arrangements to make my way over to meet them! It will be tough since Ian an independent long haul truck driver and always on the east coast I hope I get enough notification to make this happen!
I will keep you all posted on my progress to make this happen!
Thanks again for all the great info

I hope you have a great time Julio! I also must say I envy any of the dads that get to go on a Tiger Cruise. My son was an aviator and they didn't have Tiger flights! I would have given a lot to climb to 20, 000 feet in one of his P-3 Orions. But he's out of the Navy now, so enjoy every minute of it!

Maybe you'll be next KenH! Hang in there!

I envy you Julio. As much as I wanted to go on the Tiger Cruise, my son encouraged me to visit him during his leave instead (shortly after arrival). He said he wouldn't be in the best frame of mind to chill out with me, and would rather do a a week with me exploring San Diego or going on a road trip. So I'll take that one off my bucket list.
Please share your experiences with us when able.
