Hey Aaron! Check out the NavyDads Admin page. He has a couple of pictures of him standing on the flight deck ot the Carrier, Roosevelt. His son is on that ship and after deployment, family members are allowed to meet the ship then ride it to the home port. It's called a Tiger Cruise. Get to watche them launch fighters, sleep and eat on the ship. In some ways I wish Stephen were on a carrier because we will miss out on that. How cool would it be to be standing 20 feet from the catapult and see an F-18 launch?

I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric just returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat returned last fall from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). Aaron “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad that you have joined us. Check out some of the groups and some of the discussions that are going on. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here and we have been known to brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force 5 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Stephen for his service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet.
