Now done with Basic Electronics and will be going to AWOT then to "C" school soon. All in Pensacola. Not sure when he decides on platform though. Probably in "C" school."

- E-6 selectee prior to getting out as an OTA (Ocean systems Technician Analyst) SOSUS/IUSS in 1992. Great Lakes Boot camp, Dam Neck Virginia and Norfolk "A" and "C" schools. Adak, Alaska then Ford Island Hawaii. Platforms served on, All VP squadrons of Pacific, CGN-41, 7 different deployments on SSN subs. Enjoyed every bit of it!

My son is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, Ca. and my family and I couldn't be prouder of him. When he first enlisted I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your Sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud Navy Dads just like myself. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
