Hello Frank, My daughter Kira is currently serving aboard the TR and like your son she is a nuke too. She is set to come home soon and I can not wait to see her. I am so very proud of her and my son-in-law who is a nuke on the sub Scranton that is currently deployed with the Ike.

Is you son still assigned to the TR and if not where is he currently servering?

Please thank your son for his service from me!!

It really wan't anything too important.... I was registering Eric's Trailblzer SS here in Arizona for him and the gal at DMV was looking over his power of attorney he had prepared on the Roosevelt and she told she lived on Theodore Roosevelt Lane.....it is an amazing world sometimes.

And as far as I know the entire post should show on the thread page....I really never use that page for some reason, but a partial message showing could be a server issue or comm error....we have a ton of those around here for some reason.

Welcome to NavyDads Frank! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is on the second half of a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Frank this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how your sailor is doing! Best Regards- Paul

Frank, Welcome Aboard! I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud Navy dads just like myself. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Frank for his service for me and thanks again for joining us.
Sincerely, EG

Frank, “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad that you have joined us. Check out some of the groups and some of the other discussions that are going on. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here and we have been known to brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Frank for his service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. Thank you for raising a fine young man.
Terry
