Each month we adopt a different group of deployed. If the ask they are adopted no matter what branch. We pick a shipping date and everyone that wants to send things does so on a specific week from their home to the adoptees.

Wow its the weekend already. We are having nice cool temps. The university I work for has their first home game today at 6. Since I work in the campus store, I will be out there with our mini store. Home games are not on campus, we don't have more than a practice field, so we load up the truck and set up shop at Shotwell Stadium. Are you watching any football today? Or are you like me and find football games are great background noise for a nap??

Sky diving, huh? Yeah, I'd be one of those to pass on it. My niece, whose husband is Navy, went just this summer for her first jump while in Cali. They are stationed in Guam. Too bad can't hook you two up to go. Never know, you may run into each other being in the Navy life and all. Hope your weekend is great.

The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
