Leroy, Welcome Aboard!

When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found Navyformoms in searching for answers to his future. Feeling a little left out I started this site so us dads would have our own place to call home. I want to thank you for your years of service to this great country. We parents really count on our sons and daughters recruiters for guidance and help. I'm sure we will greatly benefit from your insight on the Navy. Also anything we can do for you just let us know. Thank you for serving our country and finding the talent it takes to run the U.S. Navy.

Sincerely, E.G.

Welcome to NavyDads Leroy! I'm sure you'll NavyDads.com useful, educational and informative. Please explore the site and make some Navy friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start a few. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns ...be sure to post them! I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Leroy this is a great place to brag as well! So join in and be sure to let us know how you are doing! We do ask that you remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors in mind at all times. On the right side of every NavyDads page is an area we call About This Site. Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link and the NavyDads Guidelines link. And stop by the NavyDads offical store- Navyoutfitters.com. Show your support for NavyDads by wearing the latest in NavyDads attire. Best Regards- Paul

Welcome aboard Petty Officer Leroy! I always love it when a serving sailor joins our site. I see that you are a recruiter. That's great as we get lots of questions from young people wanting to enlist, but have questions I think they are afraid to ask their own recruiter! Maybe you would be available to help. We have a group called "Ask a Recruiter." If you could join that group that would be great. Chief West is there and has been very helpful, but is going back on sea duty and will be unavailable for a while.
Thanks again, and hope to see you around the site!
Thank you for your service!
Jim
