When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your Sailor. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Allen for his service for me and thanks again for joining us.

Be sure to read the disucssions add your comments or start a new discussion. Browse through the postings in the various groups or start a new one. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...be sure to post them! In my experience someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm blessed to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Maureen this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in, get active, and be sure to let us know how Allen is doing! hope I got right info for you....I did post in a HUGE rush at work (don't tell the boss....) and if you do not get the correct info, please let me know and I'll see what I can find out!!! Be sure to explore the GW's webpage under familiy support and join the family readiness group....you're sailor will have to give them some info to verify who you are, but they can usually provide a ton of info that cannot be posted in public areas.
