Describe a little about yourself:: Was in the Navy myself, served on the USS Flint AE-32 1972 - 1975 En-3 (engineman, fresh air snipe) 55 yrs. old, auto-body instructor - sacramento, ca. absolute car nut. Father - Son '65 Mustang project the whole bit

What brought you to this site:: my son is recently enlisted

I am glad to see that you have joined some groups. This is a place to ask and answer questions. We are here to encourage and support each other. We are all very proud of our sailors and we want to show them off. Please thank Rooney for his service to this country from an old Vietnam Vet. Actually it sounds like we were in about the same time. I joined the Air Force in 1971 and left in 1975. Thanks again for joining our ranks.

I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads wouldn't feel guilty interacting in a woman's world. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. Chat on Navy Dads

The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
