- hey guys my name is samantha i was in the navy for a year but i didnt stay in i was a bm and well it was cool i guess. but i will never forget the hard work and the honor and courage that was instilled into me. Thank you Navy and thank you America.

We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force 5 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Ted for his service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet.

I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric just returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat returned last fall from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I want to thank you for your commitment to serve our country and to protect its freedom. We dads and moms on here are very proud of all the Sailors serving in the Navy. Please jump right in and make this site your own. We love our Sailors on here. They have been a big help to us parents and we hope to them as well. Also we will support you throughout your journey in the Navy. We parents on this site are here for anything you need. Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
