It’s kind of a cool overcast day here in Wisconsin. The sun won’t shine but at least its not raining. The weather really does fit the mood here in small town Wisconsin. One year ago today my son started boot camp. There have been times when the clock stood still and times that have flown by. I have learn so much and I know I have much more to learn.

Tim I noticed that you were invited to the tiger first week in August. My son sent me the info on the tiger but did not send the forms to fill out. I was reading your profile and noticeded that you are also a father of three. I had to raise my kids as a single parent. I was featured in a fund raiser for the YMCA Gale Sayers was the key note speaker.
My son is currently serveing on the Lincon as a nuke MM3. If you have the forms that need to be filled out by the tiger I would be very thankful if you could forward them to me. I have the information package that my son sent but not he forms.
I have found the medical forms for the cvn71 from a past tiger.

- I'll forward your help message to the rest of the team...I use IE7 at work and Firefox at home and the site displays fine for me. I do not use mobile stuff at all so maybe Tim can help.

You should get a call saying, "I'm here, I'm ok, and I love you." That will be it until he gets to write to you later. You may not hear another word for a couple of weeks. Not to panic. When you do get his address, it's helps them out if you send self address, stamped envelopes for him to write back. How far away are you from Great Lakes?

- Welcome aboard Tim! I know that you can't be THE Tim Conway, but I'm sure you take a lot of ribbing for that! When my son joined, I felt a lot like you do. It was VERY unsettling to me too. My son is Aircrew and it scared the you-know-what out of me. Now after almost three years, he will be getting his wings and enlisting was the best decision he ever made. I'm sure your son will be the same. Rest assured you have come to the right place. We have lots of resources and many ways of answering your questions. I see you have joined the boot camp group already. So stick with us and we'll help you get through it. See you around the fleet!

Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
