Navydad2009, “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad that you have joined us. Check out some of the groups and some of the discussions that are going on. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here and we have been known to brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank John for his serves to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. Thank you for raising a fine young man.

Welcome to NavyDads Navydad2009! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is on the second half of a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And navydad2009 this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how John is doing! And thank you for your service to our great country. Best Regards- Paul

John has been added. And if you could, not only remember my daughter Alda, but also my other son-in-law, Robert. He is in an Army special operations unit getting ready to deploy for the fourth time. My parish prays not only for the service men and women, but also the family to stay home and wait. I some times thing that my other daughter who is an Army wife may have it hardest of all, like all the other wives.
