Iwould just like to say I think Sarah Palin did the right thing by stepping down from her position. She has taken so much flak from the main stream media and the bleeding heart liberals. I truly think they are scared of her and her truthfulness. Now…

William, I wanted to take this moment and thank you for your service to this great country. The sacrifices that you made have not gone unnoticed on this upcoming Veterans Day. It is because of you and others like you that we enjoy the freedoms that we have. I salute you!

Welcome to NavyDads William! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is a month into a seven-month deployment on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat just returned from her seven-month deployment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And William this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Colin is doing! Best Regards- Paul

William, “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad you have joined us. Take some time and look around the site. Get involved with some of the groups and discussions that are going on. Maybe start one of your own. This is your site to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here we may even brag on them a bit. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is in Everett, WA. stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Colin for his service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. Thank you for your service to this great country as well. Thank you for raising a fine young man.

By the way, William, I served 4 years (71-75) in the Air Force as a Weapons Mechanic.

William, Welcome Aboard!. I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud navy dads just like myself. Thank your son for his service for me and yours as wll Good luck and thanks again for joining. Sincerely, EG
