we're looking forward to PIR, this Friday.

Our SR (soon to be sailor) is headed down to Goose Creek --- I'm guessing on Saturday.

Thank you all for responding, Received a phone call and he sounded good,sent him super bowl recap and stats he can pass around, he leaves next day for Florida A school, thanks nikki ill give them a call

My son is same ship/division.  We don't have details on A-school --- however he's headed to the same location as Nikki's son.  

Last I read, the Division is doing well.  Suspect the schedule is pushing up against the final hour, though.

My son is on Ship 09 DIV 075. We are so excited about going to RDC to see graduation. I booked our flight yesterday and got really good prices on the plane tickets from Atlanta to Chicago roundtrip. My son will be leaving for his school, which is in Charleston, South Carolina at about 3 am on March the 3rd. So we will fly in on the 1st and then fly out on the 3rd. We also got a really good rate at the Ramada, Waukeegan, Illinois. Just let them know that you are there for graduation and they will give you the Boot Camp Graduation rate.

My son Steve left on the same day and is on Ship 09 Div 075.  Received the first phone call yesterday, 1-30-2012 @ 3 pm.  Luckily I was between appts.  He sounded great and positive.

...You will get Friday after PIR until early evening. Chances are he will be flying out the next day, so plan on spending a good part of your visit at the airport on saturday!

if he doesn't leave right after PIR he will fly out the next day.....
