POW MIA

As we draw our Memorial Day Festivities and Remembrances to a close and head back to work for another year, let’s all be sure to keep the spirit of thanks and gratitude alive and well all year long. Take every opportunity to thank the Vets and Military members still with us today.

Please take this with you, this year:
We (America) have a real, live, Prisoner of War in Afghanistan.
His name is Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl, US Army
His Hometown is Hailey, ID
He was captured 6-30-09 by the Taliban in Afghanistan
He has been confirmed to be alive
It is almost ONE YEAR he has been held prisoner by the Taliban.

You don’t see or hear of him much on the news, or from the mouths of our politicians and elected leaders. We can change that, we can remind our elected leaders that we must be doing everything within our power; with the full weight of our government to secure his release and bring him home. Our government must know that we insist that no military men or women are ever left behind.
