Ship 12 Division 304, PIR 09/26/2014

I just received a call from my daughter. It was a heart wrenching call, it is the call I expected and I have heard other parents say they get. It makes it hard not to fly there and get them. I know that would be the worst thing to do.

She was crying a little and I could hear the anger about something going on that she was not saying.

At this time she passed everything they have tested her on but the run, her boots were not quite right so they hurt her feet and made it hard to run.

She said she watched one girl get kicked out and it made her cry and she hated to see a shipmate FAIL. She says there are others who are making it hard for her division by talking not following orders and disrespect to others. If you have ever been through boot camp you know there is always a small group that can't make it but you hope everyone straightens up.

They let them have a phone call so I am thinking that they are doing okay with most things and the people training them are noticing who is doing things the navy way and will soon start weeding out the one who can't learn.

I am hoping they are as good as when I went through and can see and keep the hard workers motivated.

Thanks.
