I'm a Freemason in the Grand Lodge of Maryland, and the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia. Scottish Rite and York Rite as well. So is my Seaman Recruit Son and Brother, James.
I believe that we as Freemasons have a special bond and ability to support one another through proud moments and scarey ones. Through happiness and sadness. That's why we're there.
We also share this additional brotherhood. Our loved ones are Sailors. Most of us in the U.S. Navy, but maybe some from elsewhere.
I hope our brothers in the Craft who have experience in the Navy will be willing to help out us newbies.
