My son was there from Aug. 2009 taking up Sonar Tech. He should be graduating the last week in May. He hasn't had a bad word about the place so I guess all is good :)

No, but I grew up there in 1963-66. Still stop by once a year- never forget it.

Yes he can. He will be required to wear a uniform while doing so for a while and he will not be allowed off base during the week for a while as well. The length of time will vary depending on his military bearing and if he succeeds on his PFA. He can give you more specific details when he gets there.
