Thank too for Joining Navy Dads. Wow two Twin daughters in the Navy,....I bet you're proud! That's great.

Georgia, thanks so much for your support and for letting me know you are going through similar issues with your daughter. It so much easier when we have the support of one another when our kids are going through these changes in their lives. Again thank you so much!

Georgia, I can tell that you are very proud of your girls. As well you should be. Please thank Chris for his service to this great country. I was in the Air Force a long time ago during the latter part of the Vietnam War.

Thank you. And if you have any more for our prayers, let me know. I like to pray as does my parish. And they do not have to be military related. we take St. Paul's suggestion to pray unceasingly to heart and do it, which is what I teach here. It's easy once you start.

Good question. I don't know the answer. I expect that each ship has a chaplain but that may not always be Catholic. I will add your daughter to those prayed for at all the Masses and other services of my parish. We will also be praying for you. I some times think that the families at home have it harder. My other daughter is an Army wife whose husband is in an Army special forces unit getting ready to deploy for the fourth time.

Georgia, “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad that you have joined us. I see that you have been busy, I like that jumping in and getting involved. Check out some of the other groups and some of the discussions that are going on. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here and we have been known to brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Jessica and Jillian for their serves to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. Thank you for raising two fine young women. Identical twins Wow!
