- My son is recently enlisted, my son is recently enlisted
- What were your feelings when your Sailor joined the Navy:
- It was a tough decision to make but theres nothing here for our young adults to strive to achieve for themselves so me and my son talked and chose this route and the pretty recruiter helped his decision i think lol.Hes my only son and it was hard to see him go but i knew one day he would be his own man and i hope that i installed some of the things he needs to make the most of anything he attempts in life.

Your son should know very quickly about "A" school. He will know quickly if he is going to be a grad and go, or if they hold him a while at Great Lakes. Sometimes they get them out to "A" school right away only to sit and do nothing while they wait for classes to start. When they do start it's what they refer to as "Classing up".

- Hello Timothy, Here is all of the information for the meet & greet. Jordan is also reading the bible, it is just amazing the changes that seem to have taken place already! Looking for our next letter also and still waiting for a phone call. Sure hope that I am home when the call comes in.

- Yeah Timothy, he will be able have his cell phone, but only after he phases up. It's kind of when the class as a whole does well and some of the restrictions are lifted. He'll let you know. Oh yeah, I recommend those boxes from the Post Office. Low rate to ship what ever fits in them. You can actually order them on line and the mail person will deliver them to your door.

- Hello Timothy it is really nice found someone from the same PIR date and DIV. When my wife and I write to Jordan this evening I will be sure to ask JAG if he has had the pleasure of meeting Nathan. We have resevations at the Ramada Inn for the weekend and my wife wanted me to be sure to let you know that if you are staying elsewhere, that there is a Meet&Greet there on 7/08. Hang onto your sailors cell Phone until he lets you know he can have it then send it to him in a box with his civilian clothes and other requests he may have of what he can have.

When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads but found out I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and hope this site will benefit fathers that follow behind us. Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
