If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is almost two months into a seven-month deployment on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat just returned from her seven-month deployment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). Vicki, “Welcome Aboard”. I am glad that you have joined us. I see that you have joined a group, jumping in and getting involved I like that. Take a look around the site and getting involved with some of the other groups and some of the discussions that are going on. This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here we even brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force over 4 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is in Everett, WA. stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Nathan for his service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. Thank you for raising a fine young man. I can relate to the feeling of fear. I hope that you will find comfort and encouragement here as you need it. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions and share feelings with some of us here, there is a lot of understanding because we are now or have already gone through some of the same things. In short we are here for you.
