Navy Dads

My son's pir is 12/12 . When we spent the day on Thanksgiving he indicated he might be home for Christmas before Dive Prep at Gl. We have not heard from him since other than a few letters, but when might we find out if Christmas is a reality? He said no promises however I can tell you my wife and I are hopeful. Looking forward to Sarges meet and greet Thursday and spending the weekend with our son during his Liberties.

My son 's pir is also 12-12. He also stated that he heard rumblings about a Christmas break. Maybe the rumblings are true. He also stated that the dive prep could be delayed, depending on the number of recruits going thru dive prep. I have heard that a delay can occur at times. Maybe they will know more Friday.

he will inform you, but please don't get your hopes up too high.  A lot of the schools close up for the holidays, but having just gone thru PIR he may not have accrued leave
