I just saw your comments in the chat. Glad you had a compliment on the shirt. The Naval museum is awesome in P'cola. Maybe that's one of the reasons our son joined also. We vacation in the area several times a year. So when Evan was growing up we made a many of trips to the museum and the USS Alabama. We live about four hours from P'cola, so when Evan was in school there he and a couple of Sailors rented a car and drove to our house. On the way they stopped by the USS Alabama in uniform. Evan wanted his buddies to see the Alabama since they were passing right by it. He said it was awesome to walk around there in uniform with the kids looking up to him, knowing that years ago he was that kid. Glad you had a great visit. Talk to you soon.

Ireallyu don't know much about the navy talk right now, But Iguess that will come. thanks for the support and I hope we can keep in touch.

I think you're right about no news-good news. Amazing though how we are hard wired into our kids' lives. The act that they are attempting something so noble makes it all the more poignant. Hope we all get to June 5 for the payoff. Thinking of you John and John's mum.

My son , Aidan, is also Div 210 USS Arizona. We had a little confusion with the address from the recruiter but his orm letter which arrived last wek corrected it. We're hoping that our prior letters got through prior letters. We got that bonus call on Easter and he seemed to be in good spirits. The package came last week- it was emotional - taking out his Boston Red Sox jacket and hanging it up in his room without him but our pride in him more than makes up for those little sadnesses. Best of luck to your son and all our kids at RTC.
