Cora said… - Welcome Pamela. I am a Navy Mom also and have a daughter in Japan now who is an AD (Aviation Machinist Mate Aircrewman) She works on Jet engines and other mechanical work on jets. I heard your nice video and you stated your daughter has been in the Navy 9 years. She obviously found a love for it to stay in now she might as well stay till she Retires. my husband and I both are raising grandsons however neither of them belong to our Sailor daughter, she is still single with no kids. You will find navydads to be a great site, with great people, and the info i have recieved on here is phenominal! TheseDads are a great comfort for me cause they know so much and are very supportive.

I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric just returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat returned last fall from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). My son is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, Ca. and my family and I couldn't be prouder of him. When he first enlisted I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
