Re: Linked Cheating Article...

1) Does a poor job delineating that students weren't the cheaters, only instructors.  Nuke grads entering the fleet during this period are not 'tainted'.

2) Son was in proto at GC when this broke.  He had over 60 checkouts that had been signed off by 'bad' instructors disqualified.  He had to retake them all over again with 'clean' instructors.  Plus the pool of instructors was now smaller causing the students long delays.  He'd go in two hours early just trying to get on the 'list' so he could get his checkouts.  His graduation date kept being pushed later and later, probably 2-3 months added time.  Hopefully this situation is improved by the time your son gets to proto, assuming he's assigned GC.

3) Should open more opportunities for Nuke grads wanting to become instructors.

it's unfortunate but the program is very high pressure with excel or fail written all over it.....gonna happen with those that shouldn't be there...

Well college son is on his way home.  Yesterday they made it to the Baseball Hall of Fame - had a great time.....

This was leaving sailor's apartment....

We got to FaceTime with both of them last night which was nice ;-) So glad they got to spend some "brotherly" time together.  It was short but very sweet!

Happy Monday!

College son is flying to Ballston Spa on Thursday to spend a long weekend with his sailor brother.  Excited for them to spend some time together.  Sailor is going to take him to the Baseball Hall of Fame and show him around town.  I just need to figure out a way to stow away in his suitcase LOL!

This is pretty cool - tallest flagpole project in North America.  Hopefully you can take a few (6) minutes to watch it!
