Got word the other day that our sailor, Suzanne, was promoted to AT3. BZ! On top of that she has tickets to fly home for a visit in mid-January. It will be about 22 months since we saw her last.

Yes I am a member of the Navy4Moms site, I was looking for an avenue for my husband to be able to share and enjoy the way I do. He has finally seen for himself how wonderful it is when we all went to the Texas Ranger game yesterday with a lot of Texas navy moms and dads. We re 7 years into the navy experence as parents. My son and daughter actually crossed paths for 2 weeks in Norfolk when he was getting ready to discharge and she was boarding the GW. She is a DCFN who just passed the PO3 exam. We are very proud of her.

This site is for you to use and enjoy. We love to talk about our sailors around here and we have been known to brag on them a little. We are also here to support and encourage each other. After all we are all in this together. I have two sons and they are both in the military. My youngest joined the Air Force 5 years ago. My oldest joined the Navy and is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN 72. Please thank Ashley for her service to this great country from an old Vietnam Vet. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. Chat on Navy Dads
The chat feature on Navy Dads has changed a little. To enter into the chat room click on were it says Navy Dads (44 members online) then type your post in the box and hit enter to make the post show up. When you are done click the the arrow by the person icon and the chat box will be hidden again. The chat feature can also be found on the main page. Just scroll down till you see it. The chat will also make a two note sound when someone posts a comment so you know when the chat is active.…
