hey that is cool! So Coty nd Brooklyn both AD's!! I told Brooklyn about Coty. She has a friend here who is in the Marines and been here on leave and he will be leaving today for Iraq! They went to high school together. Just good friends. I am going to try and get him to sign up on here before he leaves.

Okay that is great! Thanks for the info :). While I have you, how was PIR??? Where you able to go with all the bad weather? Did you cook up that awesome dinner for Coty :) ? Glad you are back on here. . . hope you had a Merry Christmas and now a Happy New Year!!

Hi Jamie, This is Cora. I live in Welcome, between Lexington and winston salem. My daughter PIR was oct 3rd and since she has been in Pensacola for A School which she just classed up over a week ago. You don't want to miss PIR as it is huge and awesome Ceremony!! A school graduations are nothing compared to PIR from Boot camp!! I am so gladI was able to go to my daughtersand I met alot of Moms from the navyformoms website!! I just got the DVD by fedex of my daughters PIR day before yesterday. my husband who did not get to go was able to see the whole ceremony on the dvd. Your son will be able to purchase his BC Pics, Div Book, and PIR DVD and he can either have his pic there at PIr to send home with you or have them mailed to you which they would be waiting for you in the mail when you get back from PIR. The DVD takes weeks as like I said I just got the DVD but still waiting for the Div book. My daughter paid $185 for all that!! Yes expensive! They have to pay by check so make sure your son has checks from his checking account. I had my daughters checks here and had to mail her a set of checks with her bank card. I would also like to get together with other NC Navy Moms.
