Hey Jeff, Tell Justin we are proud of him and his service. The Nassau is an amphib, right? Andy is going to be underway on the Bainbridge in the next while. He's excited. He has only been onboard for a short time, but he loves it. He knows that at times it's pure monotony, but it has it's benefits, too. Best wishes to Justin and our prayers are with him.

Hello Jeff! I wanted to introduce myself and say hello! You have been a member of NavyDads for quite some time and I may not have had to opportunity to touch base with you. As NavyDads Admin I hope you've found the site as fun and useful as I have. Continue to explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is almost half-way through a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Jeff this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Justin is doing! Best Regards- Paul

Jeff, A belated “Welcome Aboard”. I have been on vacation and need to catch up a bit. I am glad that you are here with us and have joined a group as well as found some friends. We are all here to show off our sailors and help each other. This is your site to use and enjoy. Please thank Justin for his service from an old Vietnam Vet.

How awesome is that! Did Justin say how he was liking bc? Do you know what rating (job) he is going to be doing out of bc?

Jeff - Nice to have you with us here. . . welcome aboard! Did Justin recently enlist or has he already been through bootcamp, A-school, or on a fleet now? I hope you find comfort in this site and participate in the groups or make a new one :). Pride for our sailors is an awesome feeling and we can share it here with our fellow parents. If you need anything just ask we are an ambitious bunch :). God Bless, Michele

Jeff thanks for joining. I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads wouldn't feel guilty interacting in a woman's world. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud navy dads just like myself. Good luck and thanks again for joining. EG
