Carol, if you drive down and are going to be in the DFW area let me know and we might be able to meet for a cup of coffee or something. If you fly down and are going to have a lay-over I might be able to come to the airport for that coffee. I am going to try to find a packing party in my area and attend.

Good to hear from you and hope to meet you sometime.

Carol, that would be great. I have Tom on several prayer list! It's fine if you use his full name; Tom Hebert. Thank you and God bless!

Thank you for the prayers for my brother in law Tom. He is a fighter, and having this opportunity for a new kidney has been our prayer for years. Prayer works!

Carol, Welcome Aboard!

When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your Sailor. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Andrew for his service for me and thanks again for joining us.

Sincerely, E.G.

Hi carol!! Great to see you come aboard navy dads!! What took you so long? How has Andrew been doing? brooklyns on the USS GW for a six month deployment working her tail off on the flight deck! Got to talk to her the other day and she says it sure is easier working during the day but she still wears her hard hat because she hits her head at least twice a day on the flight deck working on the jets!!

Welcome to NavyDads.com Carol! I'm sure you'll find NavyDads.com as useful, educational and informative as I have. Please explore the site and make some new Navy friends. Be sure to read the discussions add your comments or start a new discussion. Browse through the postings in the various groups or start a new one. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...be sure to post them! In my experience someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm blessed to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Carol this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in, get active, and be sure to let us know how Andrew is doing! Please remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors and the fleet in mind at all times. On the right or starboard side of every NavyDads.com page is an area we call About This Site. Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link for some guidelines as to what we should and should not talk about in a public forum like NavyDads.com. And stop by the NavyDads offical store- Navyoutfitters.com! Show your support for NavyDads.com by wearing the latest in NavyDads attire. Best Regards- Paul
